INSURANCE PROGRAMS FOR A VARIETY OF NEEDS: Through your LACN membership you can access workers’ compensation programs, property & casualty insurance, and health/dental/vision insurance. LACN endorsed programs help you pick the best insurance programs for your needs, and also offers risk management, safety services, hiring practices assistance and other services. LACN Members are often able to receive discounts on insurance coverage and receive superior services from our providers.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS & INDUSTRY RELATIONS: LACN is an effective and pro-active advocate for the lumber and building materials industry at local, state and federal government levels. LACN, through its combination of contracted government affairs representation, experienced staff and a strong national program, works to ensure fair treatment in taxation, regulatory, environmental and business legislation.

TRAINING, EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: LACN conducts a variety of training and educational programs throughout the year. Forklift training and other safety programs, as well as a comprehensive library of safety videos, are available. Sales, marketing and motivational seminars are offered regularly during the year. Additionally, owners and senior managers may participate in an executive-level conference every other year.

COMMUNICATIONS & INDUSTRY INFORMATION: LACN publishes a monthly industry newsletter, an annual directory and other industry informational materials. A weekly e-mailed newsletter on association and industry information is also available to all members.

NETWORKING, CONVENTIONS & SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: There are numerous opportunities as a member of LACN to enjoy social activities (including several annual golf events), to hear top industry and entertaining speakers and become informed on the newest innovations in the industry. LACN provides its members opportunities to develop and build relationships with those in the lumber and building materials industry.

Associate Members (those providing products or services) also have their own council which develops events promoting business development and contacts.
